The Blue Iris was established in 2005 by Deb Kinzi. Deb was trained and employed as a chemist and teacher but always harbored a secret desire to work as a florist. She got her first job in the industry right before Valentine’s Day in 1998 and survived that experience to discover her creative calling. She continues to find every arrangement a unique challenge in expression and design.
She has developed the belief that the power of flowers is severely underrated. She invites anyone to join her on deliveries and watch a face light up in surprise, or see all the heads in an office turn to watch where the flowers are going to land. She feels that flowers from The Blue Iris can reach no higher calling than to honor the lives of those we have lost and to celebrate the lives of those still with us.
